Like a month.... we pulled up to cal point and this dude was on the phone taking to someone on the phone....It was like 4 or 5 in the afternoon......He asked if we could bring him to his boat over the rocksoff the ship channel.... WELL Hell yea.....We had to see this....

So we go all the way down to the copper camp and right across from their is a boat on the other side of the rocks...

1st Bruce and I just thought the Hurricane blew it there.....Then he tells us it was drove over the rocks....( You know the 5ft of rocks) Both puzzled out of mine we needed the story..

well his son or somebody wanted to go fishing offshore right after IKE...Coming back in (drunk or crack) he ran that boat over that levee of rocks.......

Just about pissed in my pants

So I pull the mighty SeAFox up to the rocks and drop him and bruce off...

Now this dude is dress in Slacks and dress shirt with dress shoes....

He takes his shoes off, shirt off, emptys his pockets ( two bottles of prescription PAIN PILLS) then climbs over the rocks and bails off in the water...Quickly he comes back and said...Throw me something to float on

Swims to the boat which is in great shape as you see and wants the cowling off the motor and wants to know how we think he can get that boat out..... Bruce told him...something like reverse the motion it came in on

Both lower unit were gone or just about......


so getting dark...We load this Pill head up and take him back....He handed me a handful of money for gas.... I cant remember how much but I might of paid a house note with it

.....That's one of those stories you just can't make up....Classic entertainment....

I bet that was one heck of a ride over the rocks...
