It means all the little pot heads of the world are smoking up their weed like no tomorrow. Some rainbow wearing hippies started a "smoke out" day in California (UC Berkley) if my memory serves me correct many years ago, so when someone talked about "420", they were referring to maryjane.

Some people have reported it was police code over the radio for drugs, but that is not the case. Anyway, to each his own.

I heard it originated at it uc Berk but was a code and time to meet up and smoke..but now its known for

National weed smoking day

Deeowater horizon anniversary

And hitlers bday.. go figure..

I personally promote the **** out of weed and its positive effects ...I'd much rather smoke then drink....and think it's much safer in all regards

Lung capacity smung smagapacity....I smoked filterless cigarettes and ran 3 miles daily back in the day

I'm interested in hearing a logical argument for continuing the prohibition of MJ, coming from a freedom loving conservative person such as yourself, its a hard case to make.

(For the record I do not use MJ for obvious reasons)

If we grew up in a place that MB was not illegal...do u think it still would be frowned upon?...the biggest killer in Any narcotics combined is prescription pain pills.alcohol has caused way more deaths then Mary Jane...and Mary Jane its impossible to overdose....yet one too many vicodins....or hell one too many tylenol can kill ya...

One last note..in many states like louisiana... why is it that Mary Jane is classifieds the same as heroin ,pcp bit cocaine and other prescription narcotics can be legally prescribed ...

<-----don't smoke or do drugsfor obvious reasons, been drug free MJ and all 5+ years and going.

imagine the tax that it can generate for the needing state.

I just hit my year sober in March! 420 is from way back in the day kids got out of school at 4 and would meet in "their spot" to toke it up. There are quite a few positive reasons why MJ should be legalized. I did on a speech on it in college. If I can find the link, ill post it up!

Me and a few of my friends and my lil bro Walked into washington square park on 4/20 to spark up and there were more cops than people sitting in the park...followed my bro to another little park and told him it was a bad idea to be smoking in public...4:20 he started smoking...by 4:21 he was Handcuffed lol...frickin cops told him that they didn't understand why it wasn't legal and that it was their day off and they were trying to get some overtime...damn the bad luck. The rest of the day was pretty ****ty because I didn't know what was going to happen to him. But they let him out late that night. THERE IS A TIME AND A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING...LESSON LEARNED!!!!!
