On the Illinois River, they have a Redneck Fishing Tourny. No rod and reels. Dip nets and boats only.
They have queens dressed up in their queen dresses catching them in the air with dip nets. They turn in all the fish and it is grinded up and turned into fertilizer. I saw a show on the Redneck tournament on Outdoor Channel one time. Funniest reality show I ever saw. Town of 350 people turns into 15,000 people for a weekend.
