Cheers All about the kids 4-25-2011

After another well rested night at the Reel In Fishing Lodge we departed early to be at the feeding grounds for first light. David Deshautelle, his 4yr old son Jack, 6yr old son Joe, and good customer Kirk Breaux joined me. The guys new about all the fish we have been catching and were drooling at the mouth, ready to bust them up!!! A little slower start than yesterday, but it was all about the little ones catching fish. The BURN HACKS started flying before it really got light!! I was casting out for the kids and Little Joe and Jack were reeling in some beautiful yellow mouths and flounder. Kirk was handling business as always, and David was slinging them in also with a huge smile on his face!! Great times!!!! The little ones were so excited they could not stand still. Who says trout cant be caught in 30 mph winds?? LOL Bite is so HOT the kids had no problem catching!!! After roughly catching 40 trout and 9 flounder the bite slowed down. Got a call from Capt Ryan Young shortly after the bite slowed saying he was on a good bite too (thanks Capt Ryan great teamwork today). Off we went, dropped the PP right next to Capt Ryan and started putting a few more SOLID trout on ice. Capt Ryan and the Thompson Crew were maul draggin the fish when we got there!!!! Our bite was slower than Capt Ryan's as we couldn't get the angle on the fish, so we picked up and left. Tried for redfish for a little while, but the kids were getting tired out so we headed to the camp. The look on the kids faces all day were priceless, as they truly were having the time of their live!!! Not bad catching 60+ fish with the little ones today! Thanks guys, and I look forward to our next trip.
