Cheers Easy Redfish Limits!! 4-23-11

Another busy weekend at the Reel In Fishing Lodge!! Customers Jim and Lance Thompson made it into the Reel In Fishing Lodge around 11:30 last night straight from Oklahoma. We got six hours of sleep, as we slept in a hour waiting on the tide to come up. Our first stop for reds deep in the marsh had trout coming in the boat everycast with two reds mixed in. Crazy stuff, this is over three weeks these trout have still been way back in the marsh. Once the bite shut down on us we started our drift down the bank hooking into a few more fish. When the tide got up to where we needed it to be, we made our way into the ponds instantly hooking into beautiful bronzebacks!!! No problem hooking up with 25+ reds keeping our 15 fish limit in the 20-28mph winds. LOL. The reds are like the Mosquitos down here, their everywhere!!! Good times as always on the big Bluewave, BURN HACKS flying all around the boat one after another!!
Capt Rob Dupont had a Full boat with six BP workers who just wanted to have a fun time (they were not worried about keeping any fish as they have to fly back offshore tomorrow). Capt Rob delivered a good time as always as the crew hooked over 40 trout, 16 reds and a couple flounder. Nothing more rewarding than a full boat of happy customers. Thanks to Capt Anthony Kaiser for getting with me to put Capt Rob's group together. Got word from Capt Ryan Young, that his crew also crushed the reds and trout this morning putting close to 40 big trout on ice and their 25 red limit (releasing over 30 more reds). Good times as always Down In Dularge!!! Big thanks to Capt Bob Lake for putting today's trip together with Jim and Lance, guys are pumped up about tomorrows trip.
Once the winds die down the trout bite is going to explode!!! Don't be left at the dock, give me a call to get in on the incredible action.
