I gave my wife my AKC papers for him and told her to pick an AKC name and well that didnt end up to well, lucky for me i dont plan on runnin him in HRC or breedin him so that name is irrelevant

I've always named all of my pets(horses&dogs) by taken the moms name and the dads name and throwing their call name in there. For example my dogs akc name is shaq's southern duke. His call name is shaq.

I have always gone off the Beaten Path with dog names. I have trained more than my share of drakes, rugers, ect. My next dog will have a coonazz themed name. You can always change his name , it really doesn't bother them.

Can't get any more coonazz than Chauze! I named my last black lab Chauze, my chocolate before him was Dixie.
