He told me it was along the lines of building electrical boxes and such. I am sure he will put your name out there...he knows a lot of people. Don't hesitate. Jason is good people bro. I would do anything for him and his family if they needed it.

with these high oil prices it may open a couple doors....manufacturing/assembly work maybe??? surveying??? landman stuff???

i'd make a new resume targeting what you may like to go for, use related terms from your past jobs to dress it up a bit.

here's a few places to check

http://www.frankscasing.com/

http://www.louisianamachinery.com

http://www.weatherford.com/

http://www.fenstermaker.com

I work at Fenstermaker, and we have been hiring people left and right, but mostly in houston. Mainly field guys. I keep my ears open though. Its a good company, doesn't pay as high as many, but also never lays off.

Our division may need someone in the near future.

Send my wife your resume when you are ready and she can fix it up just like you need for each job you apply for. She used to work in HR and now teaches a business class and would be more than happy to help. She looks over and tweaks all of our friends resumes.... She has nothing else to do sitting at home the rest of the summer...

I worked 8yrs for Southern Flow Co. out of Laff. as a oil field tech and its not a bad company and I enjoyed the work. You may look into Southern Flow, SPL, Atchafalya Measurment and I know there are a few more around there. At SF i had a company truck to use all the ttime and they all have outside techs and people that work in shop.
