sac-a-lait biting in 18-30 ft of water on live shiners over brush piles. OR at night under a green light in same depth around treetops. bream are on the beds in 2-4 foot. use crickets or worms. bass hitting topwater (spooks and ribbits) early and late. use wacky worms or carolina/texas rigs around scattered grass. 3/8 spinnerbaits in white/chart along grass beds and in coves in treetops. rattle traps in tree tops.

Got back last night around 9. Had a pretty good trip. We arrived one hour before dark Friday evening and hit the water. Wind was blowing from the Northwest around 12mph. Caught eight fish before dark on a sexy shad watermelon red back crank bait. They were hanging in the grass off a long point. Saturday morning the topwater bite was one fast. Fished in Diamond Cove. Had a 3 lber on the second cast. We caught fish constantly up until 1030am on ribbit frogs(watermelon red with chartreuse belly) and spooks, Saw a guy catch a 12 lber on a ribbit right in front of us. Had 18 keepers by noon. Went back out at 2pm and caught fish on Bass Kandi 4.75 inch speed bugs in grn pumpkin magic. Can't wait to get back there and do some more damage!!!!
