If the boat is paid for, it will be easy.
Get the owner to sign the back of the registration, then bring the paperwork to the LDWF office near you and pick up a duplicate paperwork.
Fill out, send in one copy with the fee stated on the paper, usually around $8 for registration transfer.
The other copy is your temp. registration till you get the permanent one.

Trailer is a different monster. You need to get the registration signed and notorized, then bring the the DMV. I hate going there. Then they transfer registration, and give you a new one. After you pay them.

If the boat/motor/trailer still is not paid for, you will have to work with the bank or lending company. Not fun either.
