I wish it was always that easy... We had a good one today, Brent Croaker and Josh Whitehead fished with me today and we ended up with 20 trout and 6 reds but the catches were poor for everyone else I talked with. Between four other guides at the ramp they only had a total of about 15 trout, 12 reds, and 5 flounder.... Some days they just don't eat very well and slicks are not a year around occurrence, but you're right about the lack of fishing pressure!
