Default Calcasieu River

Anyone been on the river this weekend? I'm thinking about going in the morning. What is the water clarity north of white oak park? Anyone catching bream or perch? Just tryin to decide if it's worth going

I went past Stackpole (?) Island and then further up to where the big tree almost crosses the river, where you have to pass to the left side of it... Not sure exactly how far up that was but the water wasnt all that pretty, probably 12 to 16 inches of clarity...

Caught two pickles just north of White Oak, not sure where I am going in the AM but it will be far away from the skidooers and speed boats...

I was on the river all Fay today. Im new to the river and it's crazy. The water looked awesome but the boat and seadoo traffic is nuts. I saw people rope swinging and boats and seado doing 60 plus within 15 feet of swimmers. Not cool.

No accidents just blows my mind. It's way to much for me. When I would see people swimming or fall off the wake board went to no wake mode.
