Ive been putting down rabbbit poop. Next year should be better since I picked up 20 bags of leaves in town and ground them up along with lots of poop.

Started composting at the house and mixing in horse and rabbit poo. Seems to be helping a lot.
Usually Miracle gro regularly, but have not this year. Will probably start next week. |

Very nice... My Roma's look like cherry tomatoes this year, too dry and LC city water just barely keeps things alive... We have a large group of Grackles (Wal-Mart birds) that have been roosting im my neighbors bamboo... They have been a pain this year with the tomaters', i have shrimp net over pvc frames to keep them out but the smart bastdas still manage to get thru and peck the nicest ones on the plants... Any ideas would be appreciated, we have tried owls, pie pans, ornaments, ect. and my dog is tired of chasing them out of the garden... Thanks, Hydro |

Dont think that would fly in the hood, not that I didnt consider it ![]() These are some smart birds, they have "lookouts" posted in the highest trees and when I get out of my truck or step outside they start warning the offenders to haul arse out of the garden... I am thinking about building some sort of framed cabinet with chicken wire over the tomato portion of the garden, something with doors on the back for easy access... It would be a good winter project... |

Nice. My maters haven't started ripening yet I don't see any Okra in there. Mine kicken arse right now. Decided I planted alot of my stuff too close together so will have to make my garden bigger next year. Plan on making it wider between the rows and putting in more rows.

I planted about 8 okra plants and about 4 weeks later planted another 12. Only the 8 are producing now. In about 2 weeks, I will have plenty.
I love smother fried okra and tomatoes. YUM |
