I go to Abbeville then hit 82 all the way down. Good scenic route with plenty of birds and gators to see. Rockefeller will be about 20? miles past Pecan Island, you will see all the people

Johnston St to Hwy 14 in Abbeville
Turn right on Hwy 14 in Abbeville and head to Kaplan and turn left on Hwy 35
Hwy 35 turns into Hwy 82
Like said earlier, Joseph's harbor is probably 15-20 miles west of Pecan Island (Prob 40-45 miles from Kaplan)

Be advised that the "Rock" can be pretty packed...patience is a virtue...

Suggest hitting Price Lake rd and driving back to "Crab City" if it is not crowded. Make sure to keep the little ones close since the gators will be out and about with all that chicken in the water.

That is a understatement once word gets out the shrimp are running! Went last saturday and I have NEVER seen it that packed. There was zero parking spots with more people pulling up every second. We ended up pulling the boat another hour to cameron. Rollover was just as packed.

Just play follow the leader, you will see where to park when you get there. Just don't park on the side of the hwy. Oh yeah make sure you don't enter the property untill legal sunrise or you will get a ticket.

Price lake Rd,Grand Chenier,LA right past Barrys trot line. The main area besides price lake is about 2 miles to the east, just south of "tiger island" on google earth. You can crab in the areas by the two boat launches, and anywhere on the gravel road off the hwy. You will see when you get there,it is a small area.
