Some tourneys have rules about fishin tandem rigs... I have a buddy who crushes school trout in the tandem cork rig.... I refuse to throw a cork. Yer best shot a big trout will be at sunrise 1st light throwing a spook jr. Smoke/ truce or truce/ clear ( I assume u r fishing coco/ fourchon?? Also slang that Topwater spook anytime the sun goes behind a cloud .. If u have a partner make him fish plastic under a cork or on a jug head and u stay dedicated to the TW just grind it out let him catch what u need to weigh in n u cull those with bigger TW ones u catch .
