The regulation came from the website. A fellow Salty Cajun who fishes crab drop nets in the Grand and Lambert regularly told me that one of the Cameron Prairie officials explained it to him as you must use drop nets from your boat. You can't put them out with floats on them and come back to check them later. When in doubt use a string and a chicken leg. HaHa!

I save a bag of trout heads after I clean them...... I find they work better than chicken.

Last year I was catching 3 and sometimes 4 crabs at a time, so I got my camera out to take a picture. This is what I got on the next line I pulled up...... 6 and 5 were over 6" tip to tip.
