I can say one thing looking at the videos of the haynies run on their site and you tube they sure get the bow up and the boat out of the water. I would imagine it contributes to the numbers their getting out of them.

Once I found a prop that would carry the bow up and have enough stern lift to get the boat on it's step pad, it was like a whole new boat. When I get my boat around 5k rpm and start trimming it out, you can feel it pop up and speed up.
