channel marker 56 is on your left right after monkey island its the cut that goes back to the lake and its pretty much straight across from the cut oyster bayou/lake its pretty hard to miss its big enough and deep enough that crew boats go in it... get up on the bank to catch the mullet ive only seen them in clean water but u know its hard to see anything in dirty water

My favorite place here is to cast just West of the shell beach which is located on the SW side of the channel in oyster bayou.
