There has been studies done and they don't harm you but I pull out what I can just as a habit/precaution

If you dont pull them worms out well you know look at W. He catches small trout so he looks like a roley poley

eat them JUST NEVER LET YOUR WIFE SEE EM!! or you will be diggin em out every time . they are harmless

too late wife already saw them. SHe even found some on some big shrimp we cooked the other day.
