The one I seen at cabelas in gonzales was $42,000 I think. Looked nice. No carpet. Saltwater trolling motor. Seemed like a nice boat for area with brackish water. Just out of my price range

Mine was 58,800 plus ttl new, sold few months ago for 36,500 with 280 hours, boat was loaded,, boat was very bad *** just don't have enough time to use it right now to justify that kind of investment. What kind of questions do you have about them? and yes it will out run a Haynne with a 225 merc,,, that still makes me laugh

These costal bass boats are sweet but only draw back is you are sittin and sittin low so if it gets bad it seems to me like you will take a beatin on your back and end up wet. I like the setup but the thought of gettin my back beat or breakin waves over the front vs somthin like the flats style boats where you can sit or stand to run and save your back and also have somthin thats built to run open water I think i lean more towards the flats bay boat style plus you still get almost as much storage, just my thought maybe someone has a diff idea.

Ride depends a lot on the driver, don't ever forget that. This boat did every single thing I ever asked it to and I never felt unsafe, including many trips to coon point, Enstar and the Mardi Gras rigs out of DuLarge (6-7miles from the coast). Now, I was always the one driving so that may have helped with the saftey factor. These boats come with trim tabs and they make a huge difference in the rough water ride, once again that is if you know how to use them. There is more storage than any person should need.

This should sum it up for you. I was a harcore bass fisherman then started slowly working my way to the marsh. I ran a bay and a bass boat for a while before I got my first Ranger Intracoastal of which I have had 2. Up until last year I still fished the bash spawn and I HATED bass fishing in a bay boat so this boat was perfect for that. I no longer bass fish and am back in a bay boat, a ****tly bay boat but none the less a traditional style bay boat. If your are pure salt or don't know how to drive a boat when it's rough out there don't get one. They are made to do a combination of the two, bass/spec-red.
