what i do when i spool my spinning reels is put a strip of duck tape or electrical tape on the spool before i tie it on and then start spooling on string, then i just make sure i reel it on as tight as I can. I've never had any problems like that. I've noticed if you don't put the tape at the bottom the braid will loosen up and then it'll sink and dig into the spooled line when you set the hook. I love that braid, it makes using popping corks so much easier and its reallly sensitive when fishing tight lined. Last weekend I fished with my cousin's rod who had mono and I could barely make my cork pop without jerking my arms off, because of all the stretch that mono has. With braid all I have to do is twitch my wrist.

try prespooling with some mono then tie braid in and finish with braid. Works pretty good that way
