Default Fishing marathon

Well we headed out Friday evenin after work and after having to work on the trim we finally made to the lake at dark. Got to our spot and set up the lights. Turned on the radio and cracked open a beer. Didn't do to well on the lights. Caught one trout so we moved around fishing lights in the channel that noone was fishing and we ended up doin pretty good. Picked up my buddies dad at daylight and then headed back out. This time we headed south. Ran about 25 miles south of Cameron to only find dirty water and foul a plug. So we started workin our way back north and hit some grass. Ended up pickin 4 3tail and lost another in the grass and saw a few others. I don't know exactly the count on the trout and reds but I will post up more pics later. Heres my buddy wit a 8lb trip.

My other buddy had one 10lb. Will get pics later.

Final count was

Some trout were caught on shrimp some on gulp. Reds were caught on gulp. Triple tail were caught on gulp. Bunch of small trout. Tried live mullet by some of the rigs but nothing.

Every now and then some one snags one in big lake under a crab trap. But mostly offshore. Don't have to go far.
