I like the P-Line when I fish, think its the strongest mono I have ever used. I would like to try the Suffix 832 soon.

I used power pro for several years. Give the sufix a try next time you need to change your line. Super smooth

Same for me. Does seem to take a little while for the Suffix to break in though.

I may do that its gonna be a while i got a 1500 yard spool of PP to go through.
I put that 832 on my little brothers setup didnt throw it to much just to set the reel, it was smooth, alot quieter than PP, he seems to like it but he is to young to know the difference

lol yall always go right to the braid, not that there's anything wrong with PP or 832. i used them both and there's no doubt diameter to diameter braid is way stronger. but the op specifically asked about mono and copolys. u mean u guys really dont use mono or copoly line on any of your setups??

I use Big Game 12# or 14# on all my reels.
Don't need anything else.

In salt I use braid for everything cept for topwater. I have use copoly in the past and after the second time using the memory is too much and it goes in the trash.

He should have asked about braid. Maybe then he would have gotten his question answered. I doubt any mono will straighten a jig hook before breakin'.

IMO, Stren Extra tough is the strongest mono there is.
For some reason I switched to Big Game and like it.

P-line is great but memory is absolutely terrible. I can't get the yozuri hybrid but hear great things. All I know is I switched to Suffix 832 and haven't looked back.
