Default 1st trip in my new boat

Took out my boat for it's first fishing trip yesterday. Ended up with 13 trout 1 red and 1 flounder. First fish to hit the deck in the boat was a 4.6lber. I appreciate all the pm's I got giving me advice on where to fish. My dad had a blast. I think he caught every kind of fish in the lake. Even something the looked like an eel with huge teeth. *** was that!!! Didnt even touch it...just cut the line. Last time I fished the lake was for the trout shootout and I believe there were more boats yesterday than for the shootout. Oh yeah...I'd like to meet the brainchild that predicted the wind forcast.... 7 mph my ***!!!

Nice mess of fish and yes there were way more boats on the water. Cal Point's parking lot looked just as full!
That K2 box sure would look good with a SaltyCajun.com sticker.

Lafayette shooters got em. They are nice. Just as tuff as a yeti and hold ice just as long. I have a 120 & 85 yeti but they are both in tan. I wanted a white 60 for the boat. Thought I'd give K2 a try and I like it. Especially for $100 less.

Off the top of my head I am not sure. On average they're 20-30% cheaper than the yetis. If you have a facebook page you can go on Lafayette Shooters page and "Like" them. Then when you go into to the store you can "check in" on facebook and get a 5% discount on K2 til 7/31.

Shrimpers know them as silver eels. The Vietnamese hang them on the cables on their boats and let them dry then eat them.
