Extremely hard place to fish, fished the wed evening tourneys out of Hill top for years, Canal bank took them over fished the 1st year there & haven't been back.

x2. it got pretty good in Petit Amite for about 3 monhts before anyone realized fish were there. We would go out and limit out on bass almost every trip in Sept-Dec. We haven't caught over 5 fish since January.
