1st time offense, non violent, 1 brick of cocaine, will land you 37-46 months in federal prison of which you serve 85%
let it be crack...and all it takes is 25+ grams or more, and you got yourself a mandatory 10 year minimum. (got that right, you start off a ten) how fair does the justice system seem to yall? 100 grams of powder cocaine and 10 grams of crack cocaine carries the same penal weight.
