Default Tough day on BL.

Got to the lake a little late this morning. Fished all over the south end with no luck. Decided to try in LNG before pulling out and what do ya know. Found a few fish chasing bait. Started catching and freaking troll motor just quit. Not sure what the problem is. Its not like the battery went dead. I was just trolling along and it died. Any Ideas????. Ended up with 10 trout and two flounder. Biggest was 5.2lbs. Took a buddy who has never been salt water fishing. He had a blast. He caught everything in the lake but a trout. LOL..

I hope that's the only problem. I've heard of problems with these infinite speed trolling motors going out. Has anyone heard the same???

What kind of trolling motor. My minkota just stopped the other day. I had a breaker coming off if the main lead from the batteries. Check that.

I have an 82lb 24V Motor Guide Great White and Mine did the same thing about a year ago that you are describing. When I got home and went over everything, I found that the plug had a built in fuse, which blew, and burnt the whole inside of the plug. I bought a new plug, took the old one off, connected the wires to the new plug (took about 10 minutes) and it worked good as new again. Hope this helps...
