You're talking serious cash with cpu work and bigger injectors. If you want to hop up a motor a tldi isn't for you. Get a merc 40 or a tohatsu with carbs on it. The days of hopping up new outboards is pretty much over. Buy a new motor, put a tach on it and prop it right and work on the setup. The fuel efficiency a new motor gets should make up for not being able to hop it up.
