Default BL first time 7/30/11

My buddy hauled his flat down from Northeast Arkansas to do some saltwater fishing down here. It was both of our first time on BL. We launced out of Hog Island Gully this am and ran in the dark to the channel. We fished along the east bank there and picked up a nice red and a trout. We got swarmed by boats as soon as day break. The same boat kept getting on top of us. we would troll over a bit and he would come right in and anchor back on top of us. at one point he went in a fifty yard gap between us and another boat. We finally moved south down the channel and found some calm water, but very dirty water. My buddy picked up a Hawg Trout @ 29.75 in and weighed in close to 9 pounds. No neither one of us was registered in STAR. Like I said first time down here. He picked up another 23 in trout, and we caught a few reds annd two more trout. Not a great numbers day, but I got to see one awesome trout. I will post picks later.
