im a chiro in sulphur. if you never injured it, could just be some tendonitis from work. start icing it every night about 20 min. and take a couple aleve (naproxen) in the a.m. and p.m. just make sure you keep good range of motion in it, loss of range of motion due to painful motion is what you wanna avoid. that will create a lot more issues down the road. if the pain continues over the next week or two with no relief from the ice/aleve, schedule and appointment with a orthopedist. hope this helps.
