Catching reds on the full moon
I have searched the current and archived forums and can't find where there has been any discussion on how the full moon effects reds. Lots of talk about how it effects trout but not reds. My limited experience is that they just don't bite well during a full moon but maybe that is just poor performance on my part. What is y'all's opinion? Thanks in advance for your comments. |

In Cocodrie we do real well on a full moon.. We hit the ponds real hard early tho. We usually
Catch them on out going tied.. I'm a real hard red fishermen an have never seen a problem with FM.. The Bowfishing action on a FM is awesome also |

From my experience I would say that water temp, tide, and water clarity affect the way redfish feed way more than moon phase. I guess technically moon phase affects tide so you could say it does play a role.
