Default A Good Way to Start Your Day

I know this goes in Politics/Religion, but I'm not premieum... I get these daily devotionals by e-mail, It's just a short and sweet devotional for the Christian Outdoorsman, takes about 2 minutes to read them and its a good way to start the day. They are free of charge. Heres a link and a copy/paste of a sample devotional if anybody's interested.

A Daily Study of God's Word for Christian Sportsmen August 5, 2011

Today's Photograph . . . . Strike Lures With Extreme Aggression (Will D)
Day before army of prayer warriors gather at Reliant Stadium, Houston, TX!!! Remember all are invited!!!
Bible Study Verses

I Thessalonians 4:16-18

For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words. (NIV)

Thoughts
Trophy snook and seatrout strike lures with extreme aggression. Remarkably they sometimes inhale one and reject it before an angler's hook finds its mark.

I'm amazed at how difficult it is to cleanly retrieve one from my tackle box. I usually have a tangled mess - especially when they are biting.
(Will D)

Action Point
The hope we all share in Christ's return sometimes gets forgotten in traffic jams, long lines, or bad decisions. A loud command - think about how that might sound; perhaps it will be like a thousand lightning bolts.

Sadly though, for non-believers, it may just be another honking horn. Stay sharp! Don't get tangled up in the snares of this world. Always be ready to share the truth and encourage others about His triumphant return!!!

Sportsmen's Tip of the Day
Fiber-type fishing lines seem better at hook-set on species who strike surface lures. There is no stretch, hook sets are immediate.
