Default Topwater

Okay guys I'm new to SC, but I have to say the Mirrolure She-Dawg
with chartreuse belly and back with pearl sides is the only one I throw any more. I have seen that lure catch 3-1 against any brand or color topwater. So that made it easy for me, that's the only color topwater I keep in my boat.

Jadams, No comment. I am not getting in the middle of that! Seriously, I really appreciate the time each of you took to share your thoughts on this. I am sure there are others who have not done as much trout fishing that appreciate not having to learn everything through trial and error. Obviously profienciency with any bait has a lot to do with the guy throwing it and also throwing it around fish which requires a guy putting himself in an area with fish. It is clear that there are a lot of you that do both of those things well. May a ten pound trout blow your favorite topwater plum out the water, then come back and swallow it!

You only need 2 colors for topwater

White(bone) or Black..(Or a darker color)

Skitterwalk in fairly calm waters

Super spook(one knocker) and she dog in chop and rough waters...

Works for me...
