But I did buy my little brother a mettle and it's not a bad little reel, it casts great with 20lb braid, but it is no comparison to a Shimano IMO

Your right again. I hate making decisions. I have an old green curado, an old corsair, and a citica d that I use for salt water fishing. I have 3 Calcuttas I'm selling to get away from round reels. I am obviously partial to Shimano. I was mainly looking for something for a little bass fishing and $50 was attractive. When I heard the Caenan was $70, I thought it would be a considerable upgrade for $20 more. However, the Caenan being a $90 reel through everything into a tail spin.
