I'm not sure this boat would not suprise you and actually do quite well... the SCB eats up chop, not sure about the stingray model... I have ridden over white caps in an SCB doing 70+ and it was smooth and dry, seriously... it almost rides on air. Offshore, are you not liking the low profile? Cats do quite well eating up rough water and skater (cat hull) owns the offshore speed records.
