The red flake is gonna be a problem. Maybe I could spray a light coat of transparent red over the finish color. What are you calling "pearl"? Pearl as in pearl white?

I'm working on a Bomber Long "A" topwater. Removing the bill, the line tie and the rear hook hanger and replacing them with props from a Mirr-O-Lure M51. Don't know how it'll work but I been wantin' to find out. Oh, and single hooks....no trebles.

Honestly, I don't know, but, I would guess something like that. Might try to just cut the bill down a bit and add a rear prop. That'll keep it right under the surface.
