Calcasieu river reports?
 Anyone have any news from the river. I have not been able to fish for awhile due to needing a new powerhead. Just got the motor fixed so I got a itch that needs scratching. I will be heading out of White Oak Saturday morning. Any info on locations, bait colors or types would be helpful. I will post my results Saturday afternoon when I get back. Thanks in advance!

Guy I work with put in at the old 171 launch and had motor problems so he just trolled over towards Moss Bluff Bay and caught several keepers on a worm. I would imagin with the rain shower last night that if we get alittle more rain you can find some water draining above Ward 8 out of the marshes

Probably caught over 350+ fish this week. Soft plastics whacky wormed in the cypress, and marshwork buzz baits have been the trick.
Sorry I don't fish where your going. I stay in West Fork. Wednesday I had around 45 12 inch fish. today I slung close to 75 fish today.
