i just have a bifold academy leather wallet with a bass on it. Its been drenched in water, left on a gravel road all day with heavy traffic, and its about 7 years old and still looking good. Think it was like $15. Seems like it was worth the money to me. I don't know how much frikin coach wallets are, but I'd assume not cheap

x3 on the Fossil wallets. In the past 10-12 years I've had 3 Fossil wallets and 1 was replaced only because I got tired of the "checkbook style" wallet and wanted a trifold.

Coach, Louis vuitton, is this about wallets or purses? Since when do name brand wallets matter to fishermen? I feel like I just read an article in vogue

Nice things or unnecessary things that are intended solely on showing wealth? I'm willing to bet there is no difference between a $20 leather wallet from stage and a $400 wallet from Louis vuitton

quality of leather, stitching, and of course looks..just to name a few. but you are right, most people get designer stuff to show off, but to me, they are worth the money. Just like someone paying out the wazooofor gator/snake skin .

Sorry to seem like I was attacking you or anyone else for that matter but I have overpaid for name brand stuff before only to be disappointed at the quality of the item. Never owned any of these wallets and u may be right. I personally think money would be better spent elsewhere than on something that hides in your pocket most of the time. Honestly I guess I had an opinion on it because I really did not expect to ever see these name brands on this site. Lil bit of a shocker. My ex liked these things and that's one of the reasons she's my ex!!

Find an elephant skin wallet. I have had mine for 25 yrs. Been soaked in gulf, washed too many times to count and still looks new.

Ive owned nice stuff and cheap stuff..My dad gave me an alligator belt from when he was a teenager that my grandpaw paid 100 bucks for back in the late 60s and I still have it and it still looks new...I think alot of things you buy you can find cheaper that are just as good qulality, but there are things that you just have to SPEND THE MONEY....I dont buy stuff so that other people can awk and guu about its for me.....And a wallet is something your gonna use till you die...why not buy a quality one..I didnt say expensive just good quality....If it last 30 yrs...great if it doesnt I move on to the next brand when im 70 lol.....
