haha are you talking about that guy in vbay with the triton?

Nope I saw one in Hackberry at spicers. I have also had a friend tell me that if you get a powerpole you better keep a rope to tie it up cause the things dont stay up after awhile.

Only problem with the power pole is after years of use the macro line's can wear out by the quick disconnect fitting. Cut a small piece off and put it back in the fitting,top it off with fluid and your done. That is why you see some that won't go up all the way,low on fluid.

Luv mine. Would not have a boat without it. I have pp. Never had problems getting in the way. Hard bottoms are sometimes a problem if there are rough seas.

Capt. Bob Gouge(spelling?) out of Leeville had a broken Power Pole when I fished with him a couple years ago.
Nothing is unbreakable. If it is mechanical or electrical, it will break.

I had a powerpole on my last boat and I have one on this boat... never lost a fish because of it and it never gets in the way even when I fished 4 people out of my old boat which was 18.5'
