Well I know one thing for sure, I won't be in VBay, just got my weekly update and the water is already all dirty.... so that's out, might head out to Basin myself lil fishing, maybe a lil looking around for duck season as well, who knows. Gonna be too nice to stay in the house for sure!!!

Fishing is just starting to get right. After the wind and high pressure settles it should be on next week. Trout hang around till it december sometimes later depends on the rain.

they leave out when the atchafalaya and vermillion rivers rise for the spring? question is... where do they go before they go offshore?

Hard to say they can throw you for a loop sometimes. They hang around in some pretty fresh water. I think as long as their is bait they stick around. Two years ago there was a awesome spring run of big trout in the bay. Sometimes you can find small pockets of good water even when the rivers are high. Gotta put the time on the water to figure them out.
