Hard to say they can throw you for a loop sometimes. They hang around in some pretty fresh water. I think as long as their is bait they stick around. Two years ago there was a awesome spring run of big trout in the bay. Sometimes you can find small pockets of good water even when the rivers are high. Gotta put the time on the water to figure them out.

SO true. welp, im heading to the camp. thanks for the boat help... ill look at the plate and see what kind it is and report back Monday.
