Default Spira cat rod------"catstix"

Cat daddy
i can build you a cat rod that will pull them suckers off the bottom for sure, at one time i cant remember whjere it was but i built several for some guys that fished for cats in some river below a dam, they was catching cats upwards as best i remember #150 plus pounds and they had to anchor the boat close in to shore for some strange reason, but i can remEMber them rods was hogs for sure.
But it looks like the ones you get are around #12 to #15 is this correct, if you ever want to get cat rod the spiral would work well, let me know i might have a blank or 2 sitting around that i could build for a decent price. there are several things i can do to make the rod almost to the point of being indestruble like hvy wire loop guides tough butt lots of things.
