Just make sure that the fence pipe is strong enough for what you want. I know that the typical dog kennel pipe will bend and crimp pretty easily. If you are using treated wood, which I highly recommend, make sure you use the screws rated for treated wood. They cost more but with the chemicals they are using these days in treated lumber they are the only screws that will last.

the screws are what I was looking for.

wasnt sure there was a difference between regular (cheap) screws and the ones for treated (expensive)

The pipe is 2" 7' long. They will be anchored down properly also.
