Yea the dredging on big lake is a circus, Istill do not understand why they stopped tonging and allowed these dredging permits in a fishing estuary.. They can cry all the want but the bottom line is calcasieu lake derives a very high income stream from recreational fishing license, while the money derived from oyster permits is miniscule in comparisson. All the rec fisherman have to do is speak up and they will listen, they drive way too much gvt revenue from licensing.
