Seen a few pictures where the arrow snapped in half and went through the hand and stuck into the bow.

Word he was shopping new bows at Cabela's or Bass Pro and one of the sales kids gave him a bow to draw and just grabbed an arrow. Arrow was too short, fell off the rest and he run it through his hand and sewd the bow to himself. Now, this may be a clever way to get a free bow. "Hey man, now that I can't turn loose of this bow, I am going to have to go to the hospital. See you later" And just never return with the bow.

I know a guy who shot the end of his pointer finger off while shooting at a deer. Got excited & had his finger pointing up & whack!

Some arrows are not designed for the new , high speed bows they are coming out with. They will come apart at release. There is also a problem when people shoot a bunch of arrows in a tight group trying to impress their buddies. Any scrathes or knicks on the shaft can cause the arrow shaft to 'fail' on release. There is a reason they put 5 spots on most targets so that you can shoot a different spot on each shot.
