I've got an HTC windows 7 phone and I can't see having anything else. It is very smooth and fast and simple to operate. The app selection isn't as good as the iphone, but a lot of the top apps are available. I had an android before this phone and I was going to get an iphone when it was time to upgrade but I ended up reading a lot of reviews on the Windows 7 phones and watching a lot of videos and playing with it in the store before I made my decision. After three months I'm very pleased with my choice.

They may have changed some of the software since I had mine, we got them about 2 weeks after they came out. I didn't like the overall look of the phone and found it alittle harder to manage the features. Also the screen looked like a cartoon was constanly showing and made the home screen diffucult to glance up at and navigate easily. Like I said they may have made some changes. I have always had the Iphone since it came out and they may be part of the reason I was not as much a fan of the windows operating system vs. IOS. But I am really impressed with the new Samsun Galaxy s2, I know they have a few bugs to work out with battery life and sometime crashing but it is a very impressive phone. All the other companies have been trying to find the "Iphone Killer" for years but everytime a new smartphone comes out they are automatically compared to the Iphone because of their dependability and long standing history in the smart phone market.

The windows 7 phones have come a long way. I just got the update last month that adds multitasking and some other really neat features. Right now the only thing these phones need are more apps and microsoft to advertise them better. Here's a video comparing iOS 5 with windows 7 (I think the guy is biased towards the windows phone) :
