Default Only 1 speck...also 1 excited daughter!

Went for a quick trip Saturday afternoon around 210 bridge and my 11 year old daughter reeled in this baby on the first cast. She also did a nice job cleaning it too. Good memories always trump a limit any day.

I agree - looks like she is having a blast and that's all the counts. All in all that is a heck of a day.

Yea, my kids grin from ear to ear when they catch anything.
I think i have more fun then my kids just by watching them get that serious face when something is on the line.

Default Montauk17

It's a 1983 Montauk with a 1996 Johnson 120...love that boat!

It only took minimal work to get it looking fine! Most guys knocked me for buying it, but it was a price vs. quality issue and it is almost immaculate. The family loves it since we use it for everything (kneeboard, fishing, cruising, etc.).

Hard to beat them old whalers. I have a 1970 montauk and I love it as well. Was about to sell it,even had someone give me 3k to hold it. Had to give him his money back and keep it. Take care of it and it will outlast yourself! Where is the water line on the transom with the 120 johnson? Bet it scoots pretty good with that motor.

The water line is normal, and yes...it scoots along real nice! Also, good eye on noticing the boat in the pic, HAHA.

Easy to notice it was a whaler with the rails. I took mine off and added a bigger front deck and a rear deck. That was the only thing I didn't like was the small decks from the factory. I got a few old pics on my profile page.
