x2, my dad has the 898. Youtube how to's have helped him a lot with knowing what to look for. Be lucky you got a good wife! Thats an awesome gift.

I've got the 786 and love it. It is extremely user friendly, looks awesome with the Navionics Platinum chip, and the built in GPS is very accurate. What an awesome gift!
