HUUHHH....

I dont see how people use braid for fishing plastics....No way...

I use windtamer braid for my topwater rod but you dont get near the action that Mono provides working a soft plastic bait with jig head....

W, I agree and disagree with that statement. I like braid if I'm fishing slow with a light bait such as a fluke weightless or something of that nature. Reason being is because of the lack of stretch in braid I can barely twitch my bait without having to pull the bait. What I mean by pull is that if your fishing mono or flourocarbon, you have to pull the amount of stretch out the line before you move or feel your bait. But I do like the stretch whenever I'm fishing a little faster and that stretch will keep my bait twitching and sporadic. Now me too, I like fishing topwater with braid especially for bass, not so much trout.

By the way all the flourocarbon guys out there, you need to pick up some Pline Halo 15lb test. Awesome string. I pulled a 5.25lb bass out of a duck blind last weekend after wrapping me all up. String came out super frayed but never broke off. My cousin also pulled a nice 5lb fish through duckweed and over a huge limb then threw the bass in the boat with the same string. Real sensitive too. I tried the vicious and seager and I didn't care for either. They had a ton of stretch and sank way too fast.
