I have been using the weed eater string and concrete cups for years. I hunt over at least 500 and the year before last I put out 1000. The concrete is the cheapest way to go for big spreads. I have also found that the Avery brand crimps don't hold up and the are expensive. On the Internet I found some heavy duty aluminum ones for about 5 cents a piece. Can't use small crimpin pliers but damn sure worth the extra effort. Should last the like of the decoy.
