I don't fish weekends. I work offshore 2 weeks and when I am home, my wife works weekdays. So only time we really got to spend together is weekends.

And on weekends, boaters and other fishermen are not too helpful. They see you pull in a fish and pull in on you. Even if it is the only fish you caught all day. They pull in on you and screw up your fishing.

I have seen, TWICE, aluminum boats that have tiller drive or side console pull in on big motor, screw up my fishing, then leave cause they didn't catch anything. They never got out of their seats in the back. These boats have a $1000 trolling motor on the front. Waste of money. They don't use it.

Prien area is the worst for this. Everyone fishes on weekends and Prien is very small area.

agreed 100%... most the places i fish are away from the common prien boaters. couple spots are small holes soo you gotta be at the right spot to catch fish. plus for me bc i usually set up to where i am the only one who can get to them. some dont know and others dont care. my biggest problem has always been someone pulling up on my drift. dont run up 50 yards in front of me and cut my drift short. know the winds or hop behind me. i WONT fish certain areas if i see boats on em bc they are drift spots.
